Ube Latte
Got some love for ube or purple yam? This ube latte features a creamy base of ube-flavored milk before getting topped with a shot of strong espresso! A dash of ube extract has the power to make any cup of coffee much more fun, and this iced ube latte recipe is just what you need to take your standard cold coffee to the next level.
Level: Easy
Course: Drink
Yields: 1
Total Time: 5 Minutes
Ingredients
▢ 1 tablespoon ube extract
▢ 3/4 cup milk cold
▢ A pinch of salt
▢ 1 tablespoon sweetened condensed milk
▢ 1 Lyger Coffee Mini Cup Latte Flavour
▢ Ice
Instructions
- Mix the ube extract, milk, salt, and sweetened condensed milk until smooth. (If you want it a little frothier, use a whisk, blender, or shake it in a jar.)
- Incorporate the Latte mini cup.
- Half-fill a glass with ice. Pour in the ube milk. Pour the coffee slowly into the spoon, so it floats on top of the ube latte, holding it at a 45-degree angle, pointing down towards one of the cup's walls but not touching the ube milk.
- Take photos of the layered drink, then stir before serving.
